Prior to the media archeology essay, the group went to the Bill Douglas Cinema Museum to get primary research into media archeology.
The tour guide took us around the whole centre, showing us items from the past, including this beautiful collectors item of Micky Mouse with an old film camera. Everything in this museum is amazingly preserved, looked after to extend the life of these already forgotten articles. The majority of our generation do not even know that these exist, and by visiting the museum I experienced how much fun and joy these treasures can bring.
