First Attempt at Photograms // 2014

A photogram is an image made without a camera by placing objects onto light sensitive paper and then exposing it to the light. The result is a shadow image that consists of different tones that depends upon transparency of the objects. Areas of the paper that have received no light are white while those that are exposed through translucent objects are grey. Photograms are also known as cameraless photography.
